My Grandma raised us all up in unconditional love, with deep faith and constant prayer. She had 10 children, more than 30 grandchildren and she was a light to all that knew her.
On the day she died, we all stood around her hospital bed and held hands while we sang her favorite hymns. The nurses lined the hallway sobbing while listening to our harmonies drift out the door of her room.
Her breathing slowed and then she was gone.
In the days before her death she had several visions, visited heaven, and told us all how much love she had for us. She asked us to live every day with faith and with love, and she wanted us to keep out commitment to one another as a family.
Her legacy of love, and a lifetime of faith and prayer will always stay with me. Keeping my promise Grandma, always.
